A clumping bamboo forms a tight beautiful clump and does not spread uncontrollably like the running varieties.
Asian Lemon can reach heights up to 25 feet tall. This bamboo is another great example of a good choice for privacy screening. When using this bamboo as a focal point simply trim the lower branches to desired height to show off the thick walled culms (canes). The new culms or shoots have pink and peach tones with green stripes. When established the culms are lemon yellow with green stripes and it has dark green leaves.
