Those cold hardy palms we send to Orlando are ideal for your sub tropical landscape. Orlando is tropical and warm 9 months out of the year, but the winter months can cause cold damage to palms that are not hardy down to 25°F and lower.

Orlando has warm spots within the area and they are always near a lake or river. Royal palms are an exception to the cold hardy precept as long as they are planted near one of the warm spots.

Other palms that are cold hardy and can be planted anywhere in your area are Chinese Fan Palms, Washingtonia, Sabals, Paurotis, Nitidas and a whole host of other cold hardy wholesale palms.

Non invasive clumping bamboo is grown on island as well. Our bamboo varieties are cold hardy from 15°F-30°F. Check with one of our customer service team members to choose the one that is right for you.
