The Washingtonia palm also known as the Mexican Fan Palm is native to the southwestern US. However, throughout the years it has adapted to the US’s southeastern tropical climate. This is the tallest growing cold hardy palm we grow. It will reach max heights of 70-100’. It is a drought tolerant palm. When irrigated regularly, it can reach its’ max heights.

European Fans are the most  tolerant palms we grow on our palm tree farm. European fan palms endure below 32°F temperatures as well as a dusting of snow in zones 7a-8b. They can be found flourishing in poor rocky soil conditions. Locating any two of these palms that are exactly alike is difficult to find in nursery stocks.

State of the art irrigation systems ensure our palms have ongoing access to hydration especially outside of the rainy season. In addition to consistent irrigation a fertilization schedule is needed to feed the palms regularly.
